The 11th Postira Seaside Film Festival (PSFF) will take place from 27.07. - 31.07.2021 in the idyllic coastal town of Postira on the island of Brač in Croatia.
Despite the still ongoing pandemic, the festival will be exclusively live and on location, just like last year. This is made possible by a large open-air space at which, under controlled conditions, all distance and hygiene regulations can be obeyed.
In the traditionally very strong international competition, 10 films are vying for the audience award this year.
The focus of the 11th PSFF is "Orient and Middle East" and in the popular programme item "Midnight Shorts", as every year, somewhat crazier titles are shown.
A total of 35 films will be shown in 6 programme blocks.
In the course of the close cooperation with the FilmFestival Cottbus, which has existed since 2015, the winner of last year's FFC short film competition "Greetings from Nigeria" by Peter Hoferica will be screened in the Midnight Shorts and the competition film "The School Bus" by Ramazan Kilic will be screened in the Focus Programme of this year's Postira Seaside Film Festival.
