Less than one month to go! From November 2nd to 7th, 2021 we can finally welcome you to the Cottbus' cinemas again and make our streaming offer available to you. To sweeten the waiting time a little, we can finally show you our current festival trailer!
Strong, beautiful, young, old, smooth and edgy - our program is as diverse as the protagonists in the trailer.
This year the FFC has around 170 films to offer. Alongside the four competitions, we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of cinema in Slovakia, dealing with the personal consequences of perestroika and the political upheavals after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and discovering the many facets of the current Turkish film landscape. Traditionally, the program represents the diversity of Eastern European cinema - from arthouse cinema to blockbusters, from film classics to interactive film games.
