The twelfth Postira Seaside Film Festival (PSFF) will take place from 26.07. - 31.07.2022 in the idyllic coastal town of Postira on the island of Brač in Croatia.
The focus is on international short films. Every year, the FilmFestival Cottbus also presents films in the program.
With the easing of the epidemiological situation around the Corona virus, this year it is possible to show the main program of the festival again on the village square in the heart of Postira - the traditional festival location that makes the festival so special.
In the international competition this year seventeen films will compete for the Audience Award. The focus of the twelfth PSFF is "Being young is not easy", and in the popular program item "Midnight Shorts", as every year, somewhat weirder titles are running.
A total of thirty-nine films will be shown.
As part of the close cooperation with the FFC that has existed since 2015, last year's short film competition film "Friend" by Andrey Svetlov (Belarus 2021) will run in the International Competition of this year's Postira Seaside Film Festival.
