EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL PALIĆ

Program coordinator Holger Bergmann is in Serbia for us at the 30th EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL PALIĆ.

More than 130 films from all over Europe will be shown in 15 different sections. Most of the films will experience their national premiere in Palić.

The winners of this year's Aleksandar Lifka Award for an outstanding contribution to European cinema, this year are Serbian actor Bogdan Diklić, he receives the award in the category of domestic filmmakers and German director Andreas Dresen, who is honored in the category of foreign artists.

The Regional Lifka Award this year goes to Macedonian actor Nikola Ristanovski, and the Underground Spirit Award goes to Spanish multimedia artist María Cañas.

In addition to the film program, the Serbian festival offers numerous parallel activities such as workshops, exhibitions, panel discussions and concerts.

Program coordinator Holger Bergmann, pictured here on the right with Igor Toholj (programmer of the Palic Film Festival), is also at the meeting of the MIOB network, representing FilmFestival Cottbus.
