The T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival in Wrocław (3rd – 13th August), is among the most important Polish film festivals. Since its founding 17 years ago, the festival has succeeded in building a large audience for arthouse cinema. This year, it will take place for the first time under the artistic direction of Marcin Pieńkowski. With the LAST FAMILY (Poland 2016) and ALL THE CITIES OF THE NORTH (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, France 2016), two that ran in the competition of the FilmFestival Cottbus (FFC) last year, are shown. Bernd Buder, programme director of the FFC, will be attending the "Polish Days", the film industry meeting of the festival, where numerous new Polish feature films and feature film projects will be presented, from the 8th to 10th  August.
