FFC on the road: International Film Festival Karlovy Vary

The International Film Festival Karlovy Vary will take place from July 1 to 9, 2022.

On July 4, the Cottbus Film Festival and connecting cottbus jointly invite to the East European Brunch.

connecting cottbus director Marjorie Bendeck welcomes established or emerging filmmakers as well as representatives of the media, politics and culture.

No less than three films that have been pitched as projects at connecting cottbus, the co-production market of FilmFestival Cottbus, in recent years will be screened in the main competition in Karlovy Vary, the Crystal Globe competition:

Tomasz Wiński's unusual love triangle story BORDERS OF LOVE (Czech Republic, Poland), which was presented at connecting cottbus under the working title IMAGES OF LOVE, Beata Parkanová's sensitive family saga THE WORD (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland) about a notary who falls under the wheels of "normalization" after the suppression of the Prague Spring, and the experimental dystopian eco-thriller VESPER (Lithuania, France, Belgium) by Kristina Buožytė and Bruno Samper.
