filmPolska presents LEAVE NO TRACES

The Polish film festival filmPOLSKA invites friends and lovers of Polish cinema to Berlin and Potsdam from June 22 to 19. The 17th edition will take place in cinemas, clubs and public spaces.

On June 27, the Cottbus Film Festival will present the film LEAVE NO TRACES at the Thalia Kino in Potsdam.

The feature film about the story of a teenager who died in a police operation against opposition activists during the times of martial law in Poland in the early 1980s, which was covered up by politicians and the judiciary, won the award for best director at FFC 2021.

FilmPolska is a long-standing partner festival of the FFC.

The filmPOLSKA festival covers the whole range of Polish cinematography: latest feature films and documentaries, student works, experimental films as well as video art, retrospectives of Polish animation and documentaries, independent and off-cinema, and silent films. In addition to the film series, film workshops with Polish directors, lectures and film discussions with invited guests are offered.
