The Croatian film producer Ankica Jurić Tilić is part of the jury for the "European Shooting Stars" 2018. Since 1998, this initiative by the European Film Promotion (EFP) has been promoting young European actors. Every year, ten "Shooting Stars" are presented at the Berlinale. For 2018, 21 candidates from the EFP member countries are nominated.
Most of the films produced by Jurić Tilić's production company "Kinorama" ran at the FilmFestival Cottbus. Among them is THE HIGH SUN (directed by Dalibor Matanić), which won the awards for the Best Film, Best Actress (for Tihana Lazović) and the Prize of the International Film Critics Association FIPRESCI. The film was pitched in 2011 at the East-West co-production market connecting cottbus.
