Viktoriia Pashchenko, Roberto Rossi, Auste Serapinaite (in the picture) form the guest management team of FFC. They are indispensable for the organization of guest arrivals and much more.
This is how they describe their activity:
"Guest Management is like putting together a 10.000-piece puzzle - the picture is of 100+ guests who come to the FilmFestival Cottbus to present their films. We work on the puzzle by arranging the guests' travel and accommodation, coordinating their attendance at film screenings and other events, answering every question, and solving (almost) every problem you can imagine.
- Their flight home leaves at 6 in the morning? We'll arrange a transfer.
- Can they bring a pet? We'll check with the hotel.
- Where can they get good coffee in Cottbus? We know at least three spots for that.
It's not your regular puzzle because new pieces keep popping up until the very end of the festival - and we're there to find a way to integrate them into the big picture. It can be stressful, but we love it!"
