The 53rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) has come to an end. Programme director Bernd Buder was on the spot and spoke with Markéta Kachlíková on Radio Praha about his impressions and the festival’s development in the past few years.

The following filmmakers have received an award for their achievements at the KVIFF 2018: Radu Jude has won this year's Crystal Globe for Best Feature Film with "I Do Not Care if We Go Down in History as Barbarians". Ana Katz's film "Sueño Florianópolis" succeeded in receiving two Awards: Special Jury Prize and the Award for Best Actress (Mercedes Morán). The Award for Best Actor was handed to Moshe Folkenflik in "Redemption".
