One Day In Ukraine Screening at Bundesplatzkino Berlin

Bundesplatzkino Berlin is hosting a screening today of the FFC film ONE DAY IN UKRAINE (Volodymyr Tykhy UA, 2022, 78 min), which screened in the What's Left section. Joining us for the conversation afterwards will be our Deputy Program Director Joshua Jádi and Chamber Man Ihor Ivanko. The discussion will be moderated by Susanne Strätling (FU Berlin).

ONE DAY IN UKRAINE is a realdystopian observations on the "2944th day of war" in Ukraine - counted from the beginning of the conflicts around the Maidan. Women, old and children take shelter in the subway tunnel, a woman feeds stray dogs while sirens wail, drones are sent to war on the front lines. Contemplative observations of a frightening everyday life: this is not a film, this is reality.

The event is held in cooperation with the FU Berlin. Proceeds will be donated to Ukrainian filmmakers.
