Pickastory is an Award at the FilmFestival Cottbus that focusses on the basic idea for a film, involving THE AUDIENCE from the very beginning, a crucially important point of view when it comes to filmmaking, which is often overlooked.
What is a logline?
A logline is 25 words maximum, describing your entire story. It goes to the heart of what a project is about in one or two sentences, defining the theme of the project, suggesting a genre and a bigger meaning.
What do you have to do?
Choose the logline you like best.
The winning filmmaker will receive expert feedback and advice to develop the idea into a complete package (film story, production dossier) within the following year and will have the opportunity to present the film to the producers present at the connecting cottbus co-production market in 2024.
