In Germany and Austria alone, it maintains 27 multiplex cinemas with altogether more than 240 screens. The UCI Kinowelt at the Lausitz Park in Cottbus was opened in June 1997, features nine cinemas and provides seats for 2,228 visitors. In its 20th jubilee year, the FilmFestival Cottbus shows films in two of these cinemas.
