With targeted measures, the Ministry of Economics and European Affairs (MWE) supports the further improvement of the location′s quality, the increase of economic growth and occupation as well as the improvement of climate protection through the simultaneous ecological modernisation of industrial structures. From the very beginning onwards, the State of Brandenburg was the main sponsor of the FilmFestival Cottbus together with the City of Cottbus.
