The Best Film of the FilmFestival Cottbus in 2012, Maria Sadowkas WOMAN’S DAY (DZIEN KOBIET), will be screened in Polish Television at the 16th April.
A TEST (Russia 2014) which won the award for the Best Director at the FilmFestival Cottbus in 2014, will be released in German cinema by the “Ushan Filmverleih” distribution company at 23rd April.

In the next week programme director Bernd Buder will visit a film festival in the French town Rouen. The festival, which takes place for the thenth time, is dedicated to films from Central and Eastern Europe.

From 31st March to 2nd April, Bernd Buder, programme director of the FilmFestival Cottbus, will visit the „Kino Pavasaris“ film festival in Vilnius.
2015-03-24 Prishtina Film Festival to be held in exile
The directors of the PriFest, Vjosa Berisha and Fatos Berisha, announced that the upcoming edition of the renowned film festival will be held in Albanian exile.

2015-03-09 Scouting in Sofia
From the 12th to 15th March, Bernd Buder, programme director of the FilmFestival Cottbus, will visit the Sofia International Film Festival. Buder will scout for new films from Bulgaria and its neighbouring countries.
Daniel Abma, the director of the trailer of the FilmFestival Cottbus in 2011, was awarded with the renowned “Grimme Award” for the best German TV documentary in the categorie “onformation and culture”.
The FilmFestival Cottbus is delighted to announce that following an international job posting a new Artistic Director has been found for the next five years. Bernd Buder will be the future Artistic Director.
