Prizes

The most important awards of the FilmFestival Cottbus are the Main Prize for the Best Film, the Special prize for Best Director and the Prize for an outstanding individual performance. These awards and the attached glass sculpture LUBINA (Sorbian: "the lovely") are awarded by the International Festival Jury. For the first time this year, the winners of the Short Fiction Film and U18 Youth Film competitions will also receive the coveted FFC prize sculpture.
