The remarkable journey of the animated hit FLOW continues: yesterday, the film by director Gints Zilbalodis triumphed at the 82nd Golden Globes in Los Angeles. In the Best Animated Film category, the film beat top-class competitors such as INSIDE OUT 2, MOANA 2, MEMOIR OF A SNAIL, WALLACE & GROMIT: VENGEANCE MOST FOWL and THE WILD ROBOT.

Gints Zilbalodis was deeply moved at the award ceremony:

"This is a very personal story for me, because I used to work alone,” said Zilbalodis. “I made all my films myself but this time I worked with a team and just like the cat in FLOW, I had to learn how to trust others, how to collaborate, how to overcome our differences and I think its very important to remember this nowadays, more than ever."

FLOW was screened in the Spectrum section of the 34th FFC. Congratulations to the whole film team!
