Programme Director Bernd Buder is a guest at the POST SPACE Film Camp in Kyrgyzstan until 1 October. POST SPACE is a unique film camp where emerging talents from the Central Asian region can present their works to international experts. By hosting filmmakers of different genres and backgrounds, POST SPACE promotes unique perspectives and creative expressions. The aim is to create a platform that enables stories to be told that are otherwise too rarely heard. You can learn more about the mission and programme of the film camp here.
Part of the social programme was a visit to the Tolon Museum of Modern Art in Kuntuu, a former cider factory 20 km from the Kyrgyz capital Bishek. The museum cooperates with the Film Development Fund of Kyrgyzstan and the makers of POST SPACE. The following pictures show an exhibition on the theme of "social realism", in which found objects of socialism are displayed.
