Shortly before World Children's Day on 20 September, we turn our attention to the youngest cinema fans. In the CHILDREN'S FILM section, four films invite viewers on journeys of discovery:
In LIVING LARGE (FSK 6), Benjamin struggles with teasing at school, falls in love for the first time and humorously discovers that self-confidence is more important than any diet. I ACCIDENTALLY WROTE A BOOK (FSK 6) follows 13-year-old Nina, who learns to see her own life as an exciting story through a special task. In DETECTIVE BRUNO. BALTIC GOLD (FSK 6), a mysterious treasure map plunges two children into an exciting adventure full of puzzles. And DAS MÄRCHEN VOM SCHWANENSEE (Recommended for ages 6 and up) tells the world-famous ballet as a modern fairy tale about love, transformation and courage.
For school classes, there will be a free screening of HUNGRIG AUFS LEBEN (Hungry for Life) at Glad-House Cottbus on Wednesday, 5 November at 10 a.m. Register at This email address is being protected from spambots.
