A grandmother, mother and daughter. Mirjana, a single parent, is growing annoyed with her pubescent daughter; as the singer in an underground band she is increasingly gaining in confidence. At the same time mother is visiting. Narrated with great sensitivity, in a manner that will undoubtedly speak to audiences, this observation looks at the feeling of getting stressed in the presence of loved ones. And in the process often just finding the wrong words, until at some point it's too late.
There are no major arguments, in fact on the surface everything seems to be fine. And yet the tension is perceptible when Mirjana's mother appears. Unresolved conflicts swirl through the air, once-forgotten patterns of behaviour resurface. Situations familiar to everyone, characterised by affection and annoyance, a refusal to listen and long-established patterns of behaviour. In this, his most personal film to date, Croatian director Zrinko Ogresta brings interpersonal emotional worlds, sure to ring familiar with audiences, to the big screen.
