Pavel and his buddy Plech can look behind the scenes with their drones, and not only that of film-sets. While the cautious Plech finds self-expression as a rapper, upright Pavel is involved in a dangerous political matter. A somewhat disillusioned yet characteristically original take from director Zelenka on contemporary Czech society.

In a Tel Avid bomb attack, which he cannot prevent, young chemist Pavel loses his girlfriend Nora. After years in Israel he returns to his home town of Prague and has to find his bearings again. His old friend Plech, who makes a lot of money filming with drones, offers Pavel a job as a navigator. Both extremely skilled, the business proves a success. Plech is happy. Pavel, on the other hand, does not care about the money. He wants to continue the mission of his murdered girlfriend, who previously dealt with a sensitive international political affair. Pavel soon embarks on a dangerous path. Original and imaginative as ever, Petr Zelenka links the story of two dissimilar friends with Czech politics, major international affairs and a somewhat bitter social panorama thirty years after the Velvet Revolution in this, his new film. The drones hover above everything: they record, they spy and they sometimes even showcase – make sure you don't miss it - luxury handbags. CF
