Within the scope of the 68th Berlinale (Feb 15th -25th 2018) 250 outstanding creatives from the film industry will gather for the 16th "Berlinale Talents".
Among them are also nearly 30 representatives from Eastern Central and Eastern Europe: Dušan Kasalica, Montenegrin director of SOA from the short feature film competition of the 27th International Film Festival, is invited as well as Samaya Asgarova from Azerbaijan, member of the FFC Short Film Jury 2017. Also the director Marko Grba Singh from Serbia and the director Dijana Mlađenović from Croatia will be at the summit. Grba Singh was a guest at the 25th FilmFestival 2015 with IF I HAD IT MY WAY I WOULD NEVER LEAVE in the short film competition. Two years earlier, Mlađenović presented her film THRESHOLDS in the same competition.

They all prevailed against a total of 3,000 applicants for the 250 "Berlinale Talents". The participating authors, directors, producers, cameramen, actors, film editors, film distributors, production designers, composers, sound designers and film journalists come from a total of 81 countries. The network meeting (Feb 17th -22nd 2018) offers them the opportunity to meet internationally well-known experts and to network with each other. They receive insights from experts into their work and methods, present their own film projects and participate in coaching programs, public lectures and film presentations, panel discussions and workshops.
