Daria Sliusarenko - Graduated from the Screenwriting Program at the Moscow School of New Cinema and worked for several years as a screenwriter for Russian TV series and films, as well as a playwright for Theatre.doc. Later, enrolled in the Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov School of Documentary Film and Theatre and directed a feature-length documentary about a traveling circus, Joy. Following that, spent several years filming a documentary series about circuses around the world, from Brazil to Uzbekistan, titled Silk Road. After the war began in 2022, left Russia and directed the first short fiction film abroad.
