By comforting and encouraging others the little clown always manages to put a smile on sad faces. It's only the director he can't cheer up and now he could do with some comfort himself. A film from the DREFA summer tour that Dresen undertook in the eighties.

Andreas Dresen - born 1963 in Gera. Shot his first 8 mm films at the age of twelve. Worked in the eighties together with friends on the so-called "DREFA Summer Tours", a travelling amateur cinema that toured campsites.
