Nine-year-old Joachim can receive his favourite series "Knight Rider" in Czechoslovakia via Austria. Together with his brother he re-enacts every scene. When the demonstrations begin in the autumn Joachim's idol Michael Knight is suddenly also by his side.

Štěpán Altrichter - born 1981 in Brno, ČSSR (now the Czech Republic). Moved to Germany in 2003. Studied philosophy and psychology from 2002-2005 at the Free University of Berlin. Has since 2006 been studying directing at the HFF "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam.
