The routine daily grind of a young woman employed in a cotton mill. Huge machines, noise, the revolting soup at midday, cigarette breaks in the corridor outside. The department manager gives her a lift home after work. He’s really keen to see her place. Amused, she invites him in. Sex with the TV set on. “We’d better keep quiet about this at work,” she says. “We should look at more places together,” he says. A hasty kiss as he leaves.

A composition of precise images and realistic sound, a film that lives from the everyday interaction of its figures.
