KONEC STALINISMU V ČECHÁCH

THE END OF STALINISM IN BOHEMIA

Jan Švankmajer
Czechoslovakia, United Kingdom, 1190, 20 Min
Krátký Film Praha a.s.

A sarcastic, surreal yet astutely accurate reflection upon the rise and fall of Communism in the ČSSR. But no sooner has the Velvet Revolution occurred than a substitute doctrine rears its head: the busts of the political epigones of the past suddenly sport the blue, red and white of the Czech flag.
