BIBINUR STORY
The geriatric Bibinur receives a prophecy, according to which her life is to end soon. Next Friday in fact. Until then she intends to use her remaining days to settle her debts, as a way of preparing herself for eternity. Suddenly city criminals appear however: they want the land on which the village cemetery is situated. Bibinur frustrates these plans though, giving a new twist to the life of one of these men in the process. A film with a Tatar background, set firmly within the tradition of the Leningrad school.

Yuri Feting - born 1956. Graduated in 1978 from the Boris Shukin Theatre Institute, Moscow. Later attended advanced courses in screenplay and directing. Today lectures at the St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television.
