Volker Koepp, Alexander Ziebell - Volker Koepp – born 1944 in Stettin (now Poland). Graduated from the HFF in 1969. Gained full-time employment as a documentary film director at the DEFA studio in 1970.
Alexander Ziebell – studied directing at the HFF, after which he directed documentary films for the DEFA studio. After two years of imprisonment he was exiled to West Germany where he worked on his first TV productions.
