WSZYSTKO CO KOCHAM

ALL THAT I LOVE

Jacek Borcuch
Poland, 2010, 95 Min
Prasa & Film Ltd.

1981, a provincial town in Poland, not far from Gdańsk: the Solidarity movements calls for nationwide strikes, the state answers with the introduction of martial law. Janek's punk band hits out with provocative texts against the establishment, and yet there's more to the rebellious image than meets the eye; whilst history is being made in the background, Janek's more interested in music and his first love Basia. The fact that he is the son of a marine captain and she the daughter of a dissident family makes the situation particularly difficult. WSZYSTKO CO KOCHAM was recently selected as Poland's candidate for the 2011 Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
