Musician and author Kai-Uwe Kohlschmidt and his team traverse endless red plains, find strange artefacts, see mysterious light phenomena and meet people whose past lives overlap with that of Leichhardt. Shimmering landscapes, mystical chants and time and again the story of the old, white man who is said to have lived together with the Aborigines. It is about more than the question of Leichhardt's whereabouts: what consequences did his discoveries have for the Aborigines?
