A romance under pressure: Eliška and Martin get together and soon can no longer live without each other. Then, however, a problem creeps into the relationship that slowly threatens to dominate everything in this bitter love story set against the backdrop of the Moravian city of Brno and accompanied by hip indie music.

They meet at a party in an old train station building; Eliška is a doctoral student in psychology, Martin is the singer and guitarist of a popular indie band. They quickly hit it off and Eliška arranges a second meeting. At first everything is almost picture-perfect; intimate conversations on a lonely island, a chic apartment in the middle of the city, dinner dates with friends. Soon however Eliška is repeatedly plagued by severe pain, for which the doctors cannot find an explanation.

In his feature film debut Jan Foukal deals with the question of which burdens love can endure and to what extent one is really capable of understanding another person, putting oneself in their position. The director was inspired by a collection of poems that his main actor Martin E. Kyšperský, the front man of the Brno band Květy, published together with his girlfriend of the time Alena Černá.
