Erik Schiesko/Sophie Riedel - Erik Schiesko was born in Lower Lusatia in 1986. During his school years, he was already a performer in the youth club of the Piccolo Theater Cottbus, a presenter of cultural and networking events, and an organizer of a youth television program. From 2007 to 2010, he completed his training as a media designer for image and sound. During this time, he worked as a video journalist and cameraman on hundreds of news reports as an author, cameraman, editor and speaker. At the same time, he attended ems seminars in Potsdam (rbb) on the topics of on-reportage, speaking, moderation and report design. In 2010, he founded the company "KonturPROJEKT Filmproduktion", with which he produces image, advertising and music videos for the free market. In 2011, he released his first feature film "Blaue Stunde", which currently has 1.7 million clicks on YouTube. In 2013, the family comedy "Holger & Hanna" (Amazon Prime) followed, as well as the interactive feature film "Auf derSuche" in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, he supervised more than 50 filmmakers from Lusatia in the speaker's circle of the Sorbian-German film network "Łužycafilm". In 2020 he successfully completed the TP2 Talentpool program for filmmakers from Central Germany. In 2020, he shot a 15-part web series about creative projects in Lusatia for the campaign of the Saxon State Chancellery "So geht sächsisch". He is also a co-initiator of the newly founded Summer Film Academy Lausitz, which networks and educates filmmakers. In his spare time he plays the piano, draws and writes new scripts.
