Before Valeria Praţa's eyes, her Romanian home village of Geamăna is sinking into the toxic sludge of a copper mine. She is one of the last inhabitants - and is in mourning.

The film will be shown at Obenkino in the original language and with English subtitles. No translation into German!

Matthäus Wörle - studied journalism at the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Professional positions followed at Süddeutsche Zeitung, BayerischerRundfunk and nautilusfilm GmbH. Now he works as a freelance video journalistand is studying documentary film at the University of Television and Film inMunich. His short films have been screened and awarded at numerous nationaland international film festivals.
