The wild 1990s in Slovakia: The hotheaded Laco tries to make amends for a family argument. Unfortunately, he falls in with the mafia, who rip him off and almost kill him. The Rom Gabo finally saves him, and together the two of them forge out a crazy plan for revenge. Crazy comedy with two pretty best friends, lots of dark humor and a showdown in the National Museum.

A special task force has to come in to stop a wild shootout at the museum. At the crime scene, the police come across the half-dead Laco, the museum's caretaker, who for some reason is wearing a Nazi uniform. As the only witness, the investigators take the Rom Gabo who was present as if by chance to the station, where Gabo repeatedly drives the two of them to the verge of despair with his rowdy and absurd story about his friend Laco.

It all begins with a family argument: In a tantrum, Laco throws his son's expensive boom box out the window and now, as a regretful father, wants to buy a new one. However, the alleged seller is linked to the mafia. Laco loses his money and almost his life. Gabo saves him and takes him to the hospital, which he leaves in a wheelchair. Laco seeks revenge, and in Gabo he has a new friend at his side who faithfully supports his plans.

For this over-the-top comedy, director Jonáš Karásek was inspired by the 1990s, both in terms of visual aesthetics and content. He satirically deals with the intertwining of organized crime and politics and the disrespectful treatment of minorities.

INVALID here is the equivalent of “disabled person” in Slovakian, has nothing to do with war invalids, is also not out of date, but is used in everyday life in contexts such as pension (invalidity retirement), parking spaces (disabled parking space), etc.
