Fabian Widukind Penzkofer - Fabian Widukind Penzkofer (born in Schorndorf in 1991) is a storyteller. From 2017 to2023, he studied at the State Academy of Fine Artsunder Prof. Reto Boller and Prof. Andreas Opiolka andhas since worked as an intermedia and transdisciplinary artist,focusing on the interaction between embroidery,painting, and installation on the one hand, and video and sound on the other.His works have been presented at Galerie MarkMüller in Zurich (CH), salondergegenwart in Hamburg,POSITIONS Berlin Artfair, Art Karlsruhe, and Cité InternationaleDes Arts in Paris (F), among others. He was also a scholarship holder of the InterregTransnational Danube Programme and Werkstatt Plettenberg, hadresidencies at the Kollision der Künste in Bischofwerda and Weißwasser,at the E-WERK in Freiburg, in the Künstlerstadt Kalbe, as well as at theRaketenstation Hombroich, and is a winner of the Heussen PerspectivesAward.As part of the collectives Die Tropen, Schwäbischer Online-Albverein, andPlanet Dance Ensemble, he has had presentations at the Museum ofContemporary Art Vojvodina in Novi Sad (SRB), the WürttembergischerKunstverein in Stuttgart, and the World Cultural Heritage Site Völklinger Hütte, and participatedin Art Okupacija 3 in Sombor (SRB), a residency at Schloss Bröllin,and the Riskchange Residencies in Novi Sad (SRB).
