Revizor

A perfectly normal day in Sarajevo. On the tramway a ticket inspector encounters a drunken fare dodger. An argument escalates. Later, in the city hospital, the paths of the two men cross again: the drunkard was injured during the altercation, the ticket inspector is visiting his wife, who suffers from cancer. Both served in the war, but what for? As an alcoholic one is regarded as an outsider, as a ticket inspector even more so.

A poignant appraisal of a society which, sixteen years after the war, is still to find its inner equilibrium.
