Dawn in a Polish mountain community. A young hitchhiker is given a lift, and is even offered a bed for his troubles. He ends up staying for longer than a single night, captivated by his elderly host, with his long hair and tanned face. Akin to a native Indian he lives in the wilderness. The hitchhiker goes hunting with him and observes the lumberjacks' coarse shows of strength. Surviving in the wilderness requires strength, skill and occasionally the ability to kill. As an individual you're forced to the limits, something the film's hero strives towards: Blue sparks fly amongst the hiss and crackle.
