Filmmakers roam the Berlin district of
Neukölln on the search for young actors and
actresses to take part in a casting. Given the
neighbourhood‘s reputation for being home to
those educationally disadvantaged, prone to
violence and reluctant to integrate, the fi lmmakers
are hoping to fi nd real gangsters and
machos brimming with false bravado. Instead
of the clichés however they fi nd opinionated
and self-confi dent youngsters ready to question
the production of every scene. An amusing
