Jakob Hansen has every intention of becoming a competent teacher. The highly-motivated trainee teacher takes his grammar school German class through Georg Büchner's classic play Woyzeck. When however the pretty schoolgirl Lisa gets too close to the future teacher, the literary drama unexpectedly becomes carries over into reality, as the issue of responsibility suddenly takes on a highly concrete form.
