THE Guy from our cemetery
Kolya arrives from Moscow in order to work for his uncle Vasya. On arrival however he realises that he is expected to guard a godforsaken cemetery on the outskirts of town where strange things occur at night.
Thus Kolya is faced with the decision as to whether to follow in his predecessor's footsteps and quit, or knuckle down and save the money he needs in order to repay his debts. This entertaining debut film from brothers Ilya and Anton Chizhikov represents a classic genre film, with the main character played by Alexander Pal, who will already be familiar to audiences from the Russian box-office hits GORKO! (2013) and GORKO! 2 (2014). MM

Ilya Chizhikov, Anton Chizhikov - Ilya Chizhikov – born 1989 in Olenegorsk, Soviet Union. Until 2011, he studied production at the Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. Between 2011 and 2013 he worked on television serials as director and producer of the editing and toning process. Meanwhile he studied at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors (VKSR).
Anton Chizhikov – born 1982 in Kharkov, Soviet Union (Ukraine). In 1991, he moved to Odintsovo, Russia, and later studied Economics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Subsequently he studied at the Literary Institute, and at the Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK).
