They speak of their everyday lives and the nature of the job: ungratefulness and rough treatment are the norm. Director Alexander Zubovlenko, a graduate of the renowned Russian State University of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow, delivers a unique documentary that provides sympathetic insight into a little known world of work. In the process he returns a sense of individuality, and thus a human face, to these "mass scene actors and actresses". MM
