In Slavno, a village in eastern Bosnia, only six women, an old man, and five children remain after the war. Everyone else is missing. How are they to cope with the grief over the disappearance of relatives and neighbours, and with the time that nevertheless continues to pass? The city of Mitrovica has been divided since the Kosovo War; the north is populated by Serbs, the south by Albanians. This short film meditatively captures the town's conflict-laden coexistence in its landscapes, ruins and everyday places. Young people live here, and bear a historical burden that casts a shadow over their futures.
