ZIRRI – DAS WOLKENSCHAF

zirri – the cloud sheep

Rolf Losansky
Germany, 1992, 62 Min
Progress Film-Verleih

Christine loves to wander across the meadows with her grandfather and, in doing so, look at the skies. One day she stumbles across a fluffy cloud sheep that was knocked to the ground by a black cloud of smoke. The frail creature can't survive on the ground however, so the youngster endeavours to help it back up to the other clouds.

With this film, based on the children's book by Fred Rodrian, Rolf Losansky drew once more upon the spirit of his numerous works for the DEFA studio, with which he time and again encouraged children to rely upon the power of their imaginations.
