A bumblebee wishes to visit the lake that it can glance in the distance from its hive. A frog living by the lake is equally inquisitive as regards the distant forest. The two of them set off into the unknown and meet one another on the way.

Lutz Dammbeck - born 1948 in Leipzig. Studied from 1967-1972 at The Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Worked since the seventies on numerous animated films and documentaries for the DEFA studio.
