1999. Kiki, an Albanian who has fled from Kosovo and the Serbian army, is living illegally in Germany. His friend Tiger, a Serb who grew up in Germany and has no time for the nationalism of his compatriots, gives him a place to stay. The pair enthusiastically check out the nightlife in Stuttgart, and toil in a factory during the day. But jealousy and intrigues poison the atmosphere between them, and the ticking time-bomb eventually goes off. A drama of friendship based on fact, and a milieu study of the shadowy world of illegal refugees at the same time.
