DER SOMMER DES FALKEN

Child of the city Rick takes to the mountains of South Tyrol in order to learn how to fly a kite. Having made the acquaintance of peasant girl Marie his holidays turn out far more adventurous than planned however. The children attempt to obstruct an unscrupulous gangster who has his hopes set on the eggs of Marie's beloved hawk. Unfortunately an unconventional dove breeder from the Ruhr makes the task additionally hard for them. With this mystery story the director poses a number of interesting questions surrounding the issue of home in the face of an increasingly transient world.
