Because the three bring down a pickpocket at the Christmas party of the hotel owner Bosák, Albert, Eman and Johana are each given a wish. Albert himself is torn. On the one hand, he has a clear idea of what he wants – that Johana finally returns his feelings. On the other hand, he wants his quarrelling parents to reconcile. "Love is either there or not," says his mother. Can the wish really help him? There is also Bosák's son, a show-off who wants to take away the third wish from Albert. With THE THIRD WISH, Vít Karas tells a modern Christmas tale about the different forms of love, with a mixture of nostalgic charm and futuristic elements. Hotel owner Bosák is played by Vítezslav Jandák. In the most well-known Czech fairy tale THREE WISHES FOR CINDERELLA he played the companion of the prince. After starting a political career in 2005, he now returns to acting with THE THIRD WISH. AD
