A summer with his happy grandpa Bernard, there's nothing more 11-year-old Jonas could wish for. He secretly sets off, by himself, to visit his grandfather in Slovakia. Yet he is no longer as Jonas remembers him: no trace of happiness remains. Jonas wants everything to be the same as before, yet it's not that simple. At which point he meets Alex, the neighbour's child.
