A magical tenement with equally magical inhabitants. Eleven-year-old Tony lights up. His neighbour Shelly has a torch that makes fantastic worlds visible. And then there is this strange dark creature that seems to feed on unkindness and bad temper. Can the children uncover its secret?

Because Tony is special, his parents want to protect him and do not allow him to leave the old gloomy apartment building. But he wants nothing more than a real friendship. Then the same-aged girl Shelly moves in. They quickly become friends and explore the house and its secrets. They discover small black tufts running through the house, which appear as soon as there are negative vibrations such as frustration, anger or quarrels and resentment among the residents. Thus, without knowing it, they let grow an invisible dark entity that soon becomes a threat.

"We have continued a tradition that today is considered our national treasure and has also been recognized by its inclusion in the Unesco list [of intangible cultural heritage]: Puppetry. I think there is pure magic in the stop-motion technique." (Filip Pošivač)
