ZIVOT K SEZRÁNÍ
LIVING LARGE
Benjamin weighs 180 pounds and is a passionate amateur chef with a sweet tooth. His parents are divorced, he is bullied at school – but he is also a songwriter and lead singer in a band, currently preparing for the big school concert. When he falls in love with Karla and learns during a medical examination that his weight is a health risk, he decides to lose weight – for her. But Karla isn't interested in him. Frustrated, he lets it slide until his father's new girlfriend makes it clear to him: your life is more than a number on the scales. Music, friends, fun – that's what counts! If you want to lose weight, do it for yourself.
A charming claymation film that tackles a topical issue: body positivity. LIVING LA strikes a fine balance: it celebrates self-acceptance without overlooking the importance of a healthy lifestyle – and without pointing fingers.
